Successful completion of the 1st JKA-TSKC Invitational Karate Championship 2025 held on 30th March, 2025 at Scout Garden, Madhyamgram, North 24 Parganas.
We are glad to report the successful completion of the 1st JKA-TSKC Invitational Karate Championship 2025 held on 30th March, 2025 at Scout Garden, Madhyamgram, North 24 Parganas.
Purpose: The purpose of the tournament was to let the JKAWF INDIA club members, parents and the supporters get familiar with the JKA rules for the tournaments, help both the qualified and the trainee judges with the judging procedures, prepare the table officials for the future larger scaled JKA karate events, to stage a decent karate event with good taste. Of course through such events we hoped to develop friendship, unity, bondage, harmony and a better understanding about the JKA philosophy.
There were little more than 350 participants attended from 15 JKAWF INDIA branches in West Bengal and Odisha competed in 3 courts operated by 18 judges and 18 table officials. All the karate-ka gave best of their efforts to shine the name of their respective dojo while at times things got tensed.
The JKA-TSKC clubs have received the overall champion’s title by winning the maximum number of medals.
The championship was attended by many dignitaries and well-wishers to witness the event, shower their blessings and good wishes for the contestants and the guests list includes, Amit Kumar Mitra, IC of Baguiati Police Station, sports organizer Rangan Majumdar, Atanu Sarkar, CEO & Founder Webskitter and others.
The event used modern technology to display live action on a large LED screen, provide a tournament live status screen, and allow contestants to check their status through a web portal.
